Bio
Kristy has been a brainspotting enthusiast since 2013. She has studied extensively with David Grand, Pie Frey, Monika Baumann, Deborah Antinori, and Cynthia Schwartzberg. She has been a Brainspotting consultant since 2020 and has also been certified as a Brainspotting Consultant with a specialty in children and adolescents. She lives in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of northeast Georgia where she maintains a full-time private practice whose clients range from the very young to the very old. She specializes in working with trauma, attachment, and unblocking the writer/artist within. She is a poet and her poetry appears or is forthcoming in a variety of national and international journals and anthologies. She is the book review editor for "Anti-Heroin Chic." Kristy is the recipient of the Small Orange Emerging Woman Poet and her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. In her free time she can be found hiking or hanging out with her husband listening to their dogs tell tall tales.
