Emily Moïse-Fontenot, M.Ed., LPC-S, CCTP
Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. She received a Masters of Education in Community Counseling in 2012 from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she is currently the Assistant Director of the University Counseling Center. She is also the owner of REWIRED, Counseling and Brainspotting LLC in Hammond, Louisiana where she specializes in trauma and PTSD. Emily holds a certification in Brainspotting and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Emily is an attachment-based Psychodynamic therapist and draws heavily from brain-body and art therapy techniques. She has received extensive training in CBT exposure therapy, trauma-informed mindfulness and art techniques, DBT, EMDR, and her preferred modality…Brainspotting. She has completed phases 1, 2, 3, 4 and an intensive.
Emily is passionate about educating other therapists. She frequently guest lectures in graduate level classes, for local organizations, and the Louisiana Counseling Association state conference. As a supervisor of graduate level and provisionally licensed interns, she believes training other therapists in brain-body modalities and attunement is the most impactful way to bring healing to her community.
